Yes, however like most products, special precautions should be taken with young children to avoid ingestion either through the mouth, eyes, or by inhaling. Of particular note, is the Golden Moose essential oil. Like all essential oils, make sure children don’t get it in their eyes or drink it.
Do I need to refrigerate any products?
We try to minimize the amounts of preservatives we add to our products. For the most part, if you are using a product regularly, there is no need to refrigerate it. It will run out before the product deteriorates. However, if you open a product and don’t foresee using it that often, it will be best to refrigerate it. Similarly, if you are going to be in a hot, humid setting, if you can refrigerate your products, all the better!
Does the eyelash growth serum really work?
Yes, our research has shown that it will improve eyelash appearance by lengthening and thickening lashes in around 85% of people.
I read a review where the person said her eyelashes started to fall out? Does that happen?
This one is trickier to answer. If you’ve never had long, thick eyelashes, you may never have noticed them falling out. A tiny, thin eyelash on a bathroom countertop is easy to miss. Talk to anybody who has always had long eyelashes, though, and they will tell you that, yes, of course, eyelashes fall out! Just like hair on your head. They may even tell you that they have to periodically gently pull eyelashes to remove the lose/dead ones so that they don’t end up going into their eyes.
We have had a couple of customer make this comment. That their lashes grew and then they noticed them falling out. As best as we can tell, they were likely referring to the above phenomenon which is something that most people with long eyelashes report.
Is your Radiant Moisturizer non-comedogenic ?
Our Radiant Moisturizer does contain natural plant oils. As such we cannot say that it is totally non-comedogenic. Still, we have designed it to be as pore-friendly as a moisturizer with plant oils can be. Most people will find that it does not clog their pores and will find it refreshing and soothing on their skin. However, if you have extremely sensitive skin, it could contribute to blocking pores, so if you are in this category, our advice is to start by just using a bit on part of your face and see how it goes before you go for wider application.
Do you offer a money-back guarantee?
Here’s the deal. We stand by our products and believe they work well. If you aren’t adequately satisfied and believe that, even though you followed the instructions, the product didn’t work well for you, then if you pack it up and send it back to us, we will reimburse you according to the price we charge for it on our website.
Do you offer free shipping?
If you order $40 or more of product from us in Canada and the USA, we’ll pay for the shipping. So, if you are interested in, say, Golden Moose Essential Oil, do yourself a favour and either order something else with it to bring your total to over $40 or order several of them at once.
Do I have to shake my Silken Solutions Hair Detangler every time I use it?
Yes! Definitely! In order to keep it as natural and safe as possible, we have avoided using too many emulsifying agents. Therefore, the water and the moisturizing oils can separate from each other and settle. As you know, oils float on water which means the water settles at the bottom, and the spray tube pumps from the bottom. So, if you don’t shake it, you will at first be getting mostly just water and then later, when it is half gone, you’ll be getting moisturizing ingredients that are then too thick. So, yes, shake it! Please!
Where are LeSean products manufactured?
All of our products are manufactured at our lab in Toronto (North York), Ontario, Canada, under the direct supervision of our chief chemist and founder, Dr. Sean Le. The ingredients themselves may come from all over the world, but we make sure they are quality ingredients and the preparation and mixing of those ingredients is all done here in Canada.
Are your containers recyclable?
We are happy to answer that we are moving in that direction. Earlier, we had some packaging that had parts made out of recyclable plastic and other parts made out of acrylics that were not recyclable in most cities. As we are replacing our inventory, we are getting rid of such older packaging and are utilizing only containers made of plastic that can easily be recycled in most cities.
We are also looking into using glass containers for some products. The problem with glass containers for some products, particularly products used in the bathroom, is that in wet environments such products are susceptible to slippage and being dropped, resulting in a broken glass hazard and in wasted product. So, if the product you have ordered comes in a plastic container, if you can find a way to reuse it/repurpose it before you recycle it, that would be best! Thank you!
